Our Story
At EK Psychotherapies, we believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported.
We provide specialist, evidence-based mental health support for children, young people, and adults, offering therapy that is tailored to you as an individual. There is no one size fits all approach here. We take the time to understand your experiences, your goals, and what matters most to you.
Our experienced team offers a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based interventions. This allows us to provide the right support for your individual needs.
We work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, phobias, panic, stress, low self-esteem, grief, emotional difficulties, and many other mental health challenges. We also provide specialist support for neurodivergent individuals, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism, adapting therapy to work with your brain rather than expecting you to fit a traditional model of therapy.
Alongside therapy, we offer comprehensive ADHD and autism assessments for both adults and children, clinical supervision, coaching, workshops, and training for organisations, schools, and professionals.
Whether you’re taking your first step towards support or looking for specialist expertise, our aim is simple: to provide compassionate, high-quality care that helps you understand yourself, overcome challenges, and move forward with confidence.
Comprehensive Mental Health Support
At EK Psychotherapies, we support individuals with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, panic, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, phobias, grief, and more. We also offer specialist support for long-term health conditions, neurodiversity, stress, menopause, and for children and young people.
Our British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies and HCPC (Health and Care Professionals Council) -accredited clinicians are trained in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, and we also offer Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism assessments, with specialist after-care support.
Alongside client work, we provide Clinical Supervision to support other professionals in delivering safe, effective care.
